Last year I was able to support with my birthday money and service gift the school project of Dieter Schaldach with a total of CHF 3,200 . In the autumn, my husband and I traveled then to Bhimkhori and we were able to convince ourself on the ground that the donated money was well used and sustainable.

Now I plan entitled "Music in the air" with my students a little concert for the parents. The proceeds of the offering, I will make in consultation with the children again with great joy Dieter Schaldach for the further development of the two schools.

4 +1 friends for a good cause

And another year has passed. The first Christmas is approaching and the "four friends for a good cause" make like even the last 5 years at the Penzberg Christmas market for the Nepal Children's Aid Association!

A brief review: The idea to participate with a booth at the Christmas market Penzberg emerged in 2005 after a trip to Nepal. Poverty has left deep compassion. On the occasion of the annual 10-mile run Brüggen 10 Autar Shrestha and the families of Gurkha soldiers, stationed in Brüggen, could archieve a donation of € 721.87. This amount has been achieved through the auction of a few bottles of Kukri rum, Nepalese costumes and a large buffet.

The donation was passed on 28 June by Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Al Long and Staff Sergeant Autar Shrestha.

Amicale Fraen a Mammen Medernach

2500 € for our children in Nepal by the Luxembourg Society “Amicale Fraen a Mammen Medernach – Iermsdref”

The Luxembourg association organizes several events throughout the year such as a Christmas market, a weekend with only Luxembourg products and much more. The proceeds of these events is donated annually to organizations that are classified by the members of the association to be particularly worthy of support. Thus, the proceeds of last year was split between two organizations of 5000 €, half of which will benefit the Children's Aid Nepal, the other half went to a club for the training of guide dogs. On Sunday, the 27th March was handed over the check during a small ceremony at the two organizations, our godmother Josiane accepted the check on behalf of the Nepal Children's Aid receive gratefully and joyfully. Josiane has visited twice since our organization in Nepal, she could tell the guests a lot about the children, our Mandala Children Home and the country Nepal.

We thank all members of the “Amicale Fraen a Mammen” for the generous donation of 2500 €.

To mark our 30th Wedding day my husband and I visited Nepal for the second time in October 2010. Since 1980 a lot has changed but I'm still attracted to this country and its people.

And so a great desire grew in me.

On 6th February 2011 together with my family, our relatives and friends, I was able to celebrate my 60th Birthday.
 
I told my guests that they would give me the greatest joy when they give me an amount of money to support a school project in Nepal.

End of February, I was now able to donate CHF 2,000, which are € 1,523.23, for the school in Bhimkhori - Bhadaure, a project of Mr. Schaldach.

In 2010, my employer, Parametric Technology Corporation, awarded once again the "Carl Ockerlbloom Humanitarian Award" for humanitarian and social engagement. I'm very happy that I was recognized for the work in the Nepal Children's Aid Association as one of the world's four winners. The check received, amounting to $ 1,000 U.S., I am happy to pass on the Nepal Children's Aid Association. At the current exchange rate these are approximately 727 €.

rom October 2009 until April 2010 my friend and I spent our "Volounteer Social Year" in Kathmandu-Nepal.
Many friends, relatives and acquaintances contacted us after we returned and asked for information on land and people in faraway Asia. The money raised here, we would like to donate on behalf of all contributors to the future of the children. Because anyone could say after the slide lecture: I feel well!
 
Donation of colleague:
Inspired by stories and images of Nepal and seized by the low standard of living of local people Simone Dathe decided to define her birthday presents in a different way. Family and friends should not invest their money into flowers and chocolates but much more to support the children in Nepal. The result is 75 €!
 
Overall, the children in Nepal can look forward through a donation of 150 Euro.

On video we have seen, with what few resources (in contrast to Germany) we can build or expand houses, that also the poorest of the poor have a future.
In January 2011 we had our 40th wedding day but we passed up a great celebration - better to do a monetary donation to the Nepal Kinderhilfe. As we know Mr. Richterich personally and have already donated several times, we know that the money is in good hands and being used exclusively for the children in Nepal. The children's home is a particulary heart's desire and with € 5000, you can fund the remaining development work.


EUROPÄISCHER GOLFCLUB ELMPTER WALD e.V.

DThe British Military Golf Association WESTERN RHINESTONE GOLF CLUB in Niederkrüchten Elmpt donates once a year a sum of money for a social purpose. This amount was in 2010 "earned" by the participants in a golf tournament at the Elmpter golf facility.
The result of the last tournament 2010, the sum of more than 500 €, has been increased by the successor of the British Club, when he will deduct in 2016 from Germany, the Europäischer Golf Club Elmpter Wald e.V., to a total of 700 Euro.
 
This amount will be passed on 25 January to the the chairman of the Nepal Children's Aid (Nepal Kinderhilfe e.V.), Jürgen Richterich, during a small ceremony in the presence of German and foreign press and representatives of both clubs.
 
 
We, the board of the EUROPÄISCHEN GOLFCLUB ELMPTER WALD e.V., are delighted with this laudable social gesture, which has been initiated by our British friends of golf, and very happy to have joined this action.

For the fifth time we as the "four friends" met again on 27.11.2010 for a good cause, at Penzberg Christmas market.
 
The best part of a friendship is not the outstretched hand, the friendly smile or human contact, but the uplifting feeling to have someone who believes in you and gives a confidence.
In the morning from 8:00 to 21:00 clock in the evening we were working at the booth. Like every year it was great fun and welcome a donation of 400 € for the Nepal Children's Aid. The money shall be used for the Langtang School. Our Report.
